I've seen a lot of art on this deviant website, and I see ether amazing beautiful pieces with time, effort, and heart put into them. And I think, wow, that's amazing. And there's other times that I've seen stuff were I'm like, why is this cool? Some stuff looks like people are trying to hard to make it look cool or modern, or to get people to say, wow, that's cool, when it should be for you to say, wow, that's amazing. yes we all like it when people admire our work, but art is for you, a way to take your hearts emotions and put it into a visual. Without heart, its just another picture, another poem, just a blob of meaningless color or words slurred together.

So next time before you take that pencil out, ask yourself why you're doing it. What it means to you. How can you make a few strokes on paper become a mater piece so you can stand and back and say, that's beautiful, and not worry if the person next to you says that's beautiful or not.
